Badi is situated about 30 minutes west of Udaipur bordering Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary. The ideal time to visit the lake is during sunrise or sunset. The park on the front of the lake gets closed by 6pm.The famous selfie point Bahuballi hill is at a walking distance of 15-20mins. There are some resorts and small eateries en route.

The entire Jain complex of Ranakpur is chiseled out of white marble. The landscape of the valley that leads to the temple looks like a beautiful painting on the canvas. Bike riding feels liberating through the pathway with forests and mountains on both sides. The main temple, Chaumukha Mandir, is made out of white marble and was built in the 15th century. It has 29 halls, 80 domes, and 1444 engraved pillars! It may take you a hour to visit the entire complex. Conservative dress is required for both men and women (legs and shoulders covered). Leather items (including belts), shoes, food, and cigarettes are strictly not permitted inside.

Located at a distance of 85.9 km from Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh Fort is built high on the Aravalli ranges. It was built by Mewar ruler Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The fort’s 36 kilometer (22 mile) long wall snakes over 13 hills and is reckoned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It said to be the second longest continuous wall in the world after the iconic Great Wall of China. It also happens to be the birth place of Maharana Pratap one of the most revered figures of Rajasthan’s history. Some of the attractions are hundreds of ancient temples, palace ruins, step wells, and cannon bunkers. You can spend three to four hours exploring the fort. One section of the fort is called badal mahal wrapped in the clouds, which justifies its name during the monsoons. The fort is surrounded by Kumbhalgarh wild life sanctuary on all sides. If time isn’t a constraint, you may stay on for the evening sound and light show in Hindi.

Located at a distance of 45.6km Nathdwara is the abode of one of the avatars of Vishnu ‘Shreenath ji”. Nathdwara is also going to get one of the biggest statues in Asia of Lord Shiva in his yogi posture. You can get a glimpse of the statue even while riding on the main road. However, of particular interest are the traditional Pichwai paintings, featuring scenes from Lord Krishna’s life and the embellished colorful framed pictures of Lord Shreenath ji. The narrow lanes leading to the temple are popular for street food, artificial jewelry and colorful apparels.
